Vriska's CSS/HTML crash-course!!!!!!!!

untranslated typing quirk warning

This part of the site is written with a typing quirk.

The typing quirk usually breaks screenreaders. As for visual reader, aka people that don't use a screenreader or similar, it can get hard to read at times, if you are familiar with typing quirks it should be easy.

Typing quirk is = [8] instead of [B]; [8] instead of sounds like "ate" or "eight", like "h8" instead of "hate"; multiplying letters and punctuation by 8 for emphasis or similar.

There is a mirror page without the typing quirk here.

Hey losers, Vriska here. I'm going to teach Y'all how to do some common CSS/HTML that are actually harder that they seem!

There'll 8e: 8orders, id vs class, (some others I'm adding in the future.)

For 8orders there is already a separ8 page explaining it, but I'm not doing a typing quirk-less version of that one, this is more simple.

How to 8order. (link)

"8ut Vriska, you said at the start of the site that this we8site isn't educational!"

Well said Strawman-I-just-made-up, it's 8ecause it isn't!!!!!!!! I'm m8king this as a resource for the rest of my system, and went, "Oh, hey, may8e I could m8ke this more pu8lic." so 8e grateful I let you in. You, reader, not the strawman. M8king strawmen a8out concerns we have to 8e a8le to fight with is necessary for our functioning, sorry not sorry.

8orders

Here goes a simpler version of How to 8order that I haven't written yet.

id vs class

The "id" and "class" attri8utes look like they are exch8nga8le at first glance, they are not!!!!!!!!

There are some key differences to keep in mind to use them properly!
