uttq stands for UnTranslated Typing Quirk, this is to refer to a typing quirk, that usually requires translation, that is written as is without translation or reading aid.
uttqs tend to break screenreaders, confuse dyslexic people, or annoy people that aren't hardcore homestuck fans. thus they require a warning.
in the case of a uttq, one of two pathes must be followed. in both of them it requires adding the uttq warning. for path one, which is mandatory on important or relevant parts of the site, the page with a uttq must come with an alternative tqless mirror. the second path is only providing a uttq page, this can only be used on irrelevant, fully optional or easter eggs. mainly things like pages on "/pages/sillies" or fun stuff for ourselves only.
core, really important or general pages cannot have an uttq version. core is things like: the index.html or site root, links page, the pages under "/main". general is pages that are used/coded by different people at the same time, nobody can prioritize their own tq on general pages.
This part of the site is written with a typing quirk.
The typing quirk [screenreader readibility status. breaks/unreliable/works/unknown]. [status of readibility for visual reader, aka people that don't use a screenreader or similar, such as easy to read/occassionaly confusing/hard to understand/homestuck fan level only].
Typing quirk is = (write letter substitution as this: [letter substitution] instead of [original letter/sound]), [add what feels necessary].
